EY-Parthenon - Strategy and Execution - Deal Management - Financial Services - Senior Director
About the role
EY-Parthenon’s unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions, and corporate finance delivers real-world value. This role is within the Strategy and Execution sub-service line, specifically the Deal Management – Financial Services – Insurance practice. You will prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, and advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions, and people.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams comprising colleagues from across the EY-Parthenon sub-service lines.
- Work in a fast-paced, exciting environment with strong business acumen to drive value to our clients.
- Drive client pursuits, including presentations and client meetings. Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.
- Coach and mentor staff in the achievement of their career goals.
- Build strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice, and support to key decision makers.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience.
- MBA is preferred.
- Significant experience in an M&A consulting environment working with insurance clients.
- Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
- The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.

- Reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

Pay
$250,000 to $290,000 base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US.
