Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze the client’s most strategic issues.
  • Develop work plans, design and conduct analyses, and synthesize conclusions.
  • Manage other case team members and assume immediate management responsibility.
  • Perform secondary research using a variety of sources.
  • Execute various analyses such as customer segmentation, market sizing, competitor analysis, and macroeconomic forecasting.
  • Design and execute in-depth interview guides with key organizational stakeholders, industry experts, and customers.
  • Analyze business plans and pro-forma financial models to help identify key assumptions and drivers.

Requirements

  • Outstanding academic performance, with a bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related work experience; or a graduate degree and some related work experience.
  • Experience in strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking, market research, or a quantitative type of research function.
  • Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read, and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment.
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • Experience in strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking, market research, or a quantitative type of research function.
  • MBA or graduate degree with some related work experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

Pay

$100,000 to $110,000 base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US.

Schedule

Flexible vacation policy and a team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model where most people in external, client-serving roles work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
