Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on corporate finance and the valuation of complex financial instruments.
- Conducting research on the fixed income and equity markets and on individual companies.
- Developing valuation models, including binomial lattice and Monte Carlo simulation models.
- Using proprietary valuation models for valuing financial instruments, estimating market parameters and inputs for valuation models.
- Analyzing financial instruments using data visualization tools, modern statistics, and machine learning techniques.
- Presenting results and findings to the team and to clients.
- Analyzing and performing due diligence on credit and expected losses.
- Working with clients to establish valuation processes and documentation.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of related work experience; or a graduate degree and at least 1 year of related work experience; or an advance degree (master’s or Ph D.) in a quantitative discipline, such as finance, mathematics, statistics, financial engineering, engineering or economics.
- Demonstrated aptitude to quantitative and qualitative analysis of financial instruments which may include options, warrants, fixed income & hybrid securities, structured products and other derivatives.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, R, Matlab, or VBA.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, or Capital IQ is a plus.
- Experience in developing web-based applications and working with large datasets is a plus.
- Ability to work within a given budget and schedule, providing top-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team prioritizing multiple tasks, deadlines, and project stakeholders.
- A strong work ethic, strong communications skills, and demonstrate an ability to work in a dynamic environment full of new challenges and ideas.
