Extrusion Support (2nd Shift Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure safety is always prioritized; follow all safety programs and guidelines.
• Model and support the company's vision and strategies through active leadership.
• Set up and run equipment safely and efficiently to maximize output and meet quality requirements.
• Fulfill customer orders by accurately and efficiently packing, inspecting, and loading orders.
• Set up and run cutting equipment, inspect parts, perform deburring, and document process information.
• Maintain equipment and provide suggestions for process improvements.
• Support extrusion press operations, keep work areas clean, and maintain a 5S system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledgeable in company-wide computer systems and programs.
• Ability to recognize safety concerns and utilize proper inspection equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong coordination and judgment skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to detect minor defects and read die drawings.
• Knowledge of the age cycle and its effects on material.
• Ability to take part in additional training such as Extrusion 101.
