Extrusion Operator I

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Monitor and adjust machine components to regulate speed, pressure, temperatures, and material flow
• Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to standards
• Adjust machine parameters during production runs as necessary
• Review and interpret work orders, specifications, and instructions to determine materials, ingredients, procedures, components, and adjustments
• Fill out daily production sheets and production system accurately and completely
• Perform material handling duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Understand the high barrier extrusion process flow and Motan system
• Keep and maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Follow all safety rules and HACCP, GMP, and SQF requirements
• Assist in training sessions as needed
• Report any work-related incidents
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment with a safety-first attitude
