Extrusion Operator

About the role

We are looking for Production Technicians to lead the safe and efficient production of quality material that meets customer requirements. This position is ideal for anyone just starting out in manufacturing or looking to build on their career. Responsibilities

• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Follow all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures
• Move, load, and package Raw and Finished Goods (forklift experience preferred but not required)
• Complete box sheets correctly
• Ensure that boxes are labeled correctly – Product ID, correct weights, and any other customer requirements
• Retrieve a quality sample from each box to place on the quality board for that line for quality inspections
• Complete changeovers from one product to another, ensuring there isn’t any contamination
• Use an overhead crane to transfer blending totes of mixed materials to the top of the extruder
• Uphold Ravago’s Code of Conduct

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Regularly lift and carry up to 55 lbs
• Repeatedly reach with hands and arms
• Climb straight incline ladders
• Use of fingers and hands for packaging and writing
