Extruder Operator

Responsibilities
- Read construction sheet and customer requirement sheet fully in order to meet the customer requirements.
- Responsible for programming electric eye system.
- Responsible for retrieving and loading pellets in extruder hopper.
- Assist co-workers in machine setups.
- Assisting co-workers in tying down material and wrapping material.
- Participate in reporting any quality problems to supervisor immediately.
- Label any problem areas in the liner.
- Perform maintenance duties as needed.
- Continually review supplies and report to your supervisor any shortages.
- Ensure drive roller is down prior to a run.
- Work in a safe manner at all times by following the company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean work environment by performing cleaning duties when required.
- Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
- Will at times be asked to perform other duties.
Requirements
- GED/High School Diploma.
- Satisfactorily complete 3 months on-the-job training.
Qualifications
Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting. Requires full range of motion including eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. on a continuous basis. Must possess basic math skills. Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job.

Pay
The Pay Range For This Role Is $17.95 - $17.95 USD per hour.
Schedule
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday but could include shift work, weekends, evenings and/or holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.
