Extraction Manager

The Extraction Manager position is responsible for maintaining constant operations throughout the entire extraction and oil refinement process. Beginning with dry/wet biomass product and ending as a final raw extract. Adhere and enforce adherence of GMP standards.Adhere and enforce company uniform policy.Output consistent quality product which is at par with company standards.Personnel training on all sub-department related tasks, including; Ethanol – CO2 extraction, winterization, filtration, solvent removal, decarboxylation, concentrate production and wiped film distillation.Ensure extraction technicians abide by operational related SOP’s.Report sub-department related metrics cyclically to Administration.Produce required amounts of distillate/concentrate weekly via Ethanol extraction and refinement.Consume required amounts of biomass product on a weekly basis via Ethanol Extraction.Review and conclude lot portfolios prior to Administration submission.Applied maintenance and troubleshooting to all equipment in the laboratory.Responsible for the development and performance of all Extraction Technicians.Optimize operational logistics to increase efficacy and maximize efficiency.Draft personnel schedule to be approved by the Assistant and/or Processing Manager.Analyze and ensure ambient temperature is within required range of operations.Work in conjunction with company chemists to ensure maximum efficiency throughout the extraction and refinement process.Work in conjunction with Administration to accurately complete employee evaluations.Supervision of all extraction technicians.Report infrastructure deficiencies.Complete cyclical physical inventory counts.
