Extra Care Registered Manager

Up to £36,000 per annum, full-time position based in Hull, Yorkshire.

About the role

Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation providing high-quality, person-centred support to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and dementia. We are seeking a warm, compassionate, and proactive Extra Care Registered Manager to lead our service at Cecil Gardens, a vibrant, multi-generational community rated "Good" in all domains by the CQC in 2026. This role involves operational management of the service, working with a wider senior team to achieve an "Outstanding" rating and empower service users to live independently while fostering community connections.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational management for Cecil Gardens, ensuring high standards of care and support.
• Collaborate with the landlord, stakeholders, and local health and social care services.
• Empower service users by tailoring support to their needs and preferences.
• Work with service users’ families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere.
• Manage a team of care staff, fostering a person-centred and holistic approach.
• Support individuals with dignified personal care, domestic tasks, and access to employment, education, and social opportunities.
• Work occasional shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

• Previous experience in services for people with a range of support needs.
• Warm, person-centred, and respectful approach.
• Flexible, energetic, and reliable with a commitment to empowering service users.
• Ability to work empathetically and holistically to maintain independence and orientation.
• Must be located in and eligible to work within the UK.
