Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors to generate assets within a specific territory.
- Aid in educating financial advisors on the benefits of offered products and services for their clients through individual or group meetings, presentations, branch visits, seminars, and conferences/trade shows.
- Develop and implement wholesaling business plans for the territory to meet sales goals.
- Present sales activities at weekly wholesaling meetings.
- Manage expense accounts within allotted budgets.
- Work closely with assigned internal wholesalers to deliver sales goals by identifying and fostering leads generated from referrals, advertising campaigns, and territory canvassing.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge
- Fundamental concepts, principles, and practices of the securities industry and asset management products.
- Broker/dealer operations.
Skill
- Identify customer needs through effective questioning and listening techniques.
- Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Prepare and deliver clear, convincing, and professional sales presentations to small and large audiences.
- Solve problems sufficiently to analyze, research, and resolve inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze business processes and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Finance or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the financial services industry. Alternatively, any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
Licenses/Certifications
- SIE required, provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied.
- FINRA Series 7 and the ability to obtain other necessary licenses within sixty (60) days of hire.
