External Wholesaler
Position Responsibilities
Distribute a comprehensive product lineup, including Mutual Funds, ETFs, 529 plans, UCITS, SMAs, DCIO, and Private Placement offerings
Build and strengthen client relationships by delivering timely product insights, capital markets perspective, and practice management support—while providing exceptional service
Execute a disciplined, high-activity sales approach across in-person meetings, virtual meetings, calls, and proactive follow-up
Generate new business through targeted prospecting and pipeline development
Represent John Hancock Investment Management at conferences, seminars, and sales meetings (both in-person and virtual)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3–5+ years of asset management wholesaling experience required
- Series 7 and 63 or 66 licenses required
- CFA or CIMA designation preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills—both in-person and virtual
- Pioneered time management, organizational, and technology skills
- Established relationships within the local market preferred

- Remote Salary range is expected to be between $80,000.00 USD - $138,700.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
