This role requires the Managing Regional Director to be based in the Minnesota territory.
About the role
The Managing Regional Director will position Natixis Investment Managers’ capabilities around investment analysis and portfolio design; customized, indexed-based separate accounts; integrated portfolio implementation; premier institutional asset managers and corporate investment banking solutions in the marketplace. The position requires technical skills surrounding each of these service offerings, with a thoughtful approach to filling and maintaining a pipeline during a typically long sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain professional sales relationships with financial advisors at Wire Houses and Independent firms.
- Represent all Natixis strategies in multiple lines of business including Separate accounts, no load and load mutual funds, and institutional full fee accounts on different platforms.
- Build and enhance long-term, quality relationships with a broad range of advisors.
- Develop and execute a business plan that incorporates team members and other Natixis resources.
- Meet/exceed territory sales goals that are developed by sales management.
Requirements
- Prior industry experience and FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses (or equivalent) required. Other advanced industry related designations will be viewed favorably.
- Experience effectively communicating and presenting market/portfolio information.
- Ability to clearly articulate a portfolio’s investment discipline and process to clients.
- Knowledge of domestic and international markets, with the ability to speak to current trends, themes, or commentary.
- Territory/business/time/budget management skills a must.
- Ability to develop and communicate business plans to team members for the purpose of achieving sales goals.
- Effective use of business analytics to prioritize territory coverage.
- Thorough understanding of Wire Houses and Independent firm platforms and goals.
- 5 years of external sales experience.
- Experience selling multiple lines of business using a consultative sales approach.
- Effective networking, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Collegial and collaborative approach, with the desire to excel in a team based environment.
- Ability to travel 50-75% of time. Experience within territory viewed favorably.

Pay
The expected annual compensation target, which includes base salary and commissions, for this field-based position is $284,750.00 - $480,125.00. Actual annual compensation targets may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, commissions earned, and other job-related factors.
