Extended Reality Facility Manager

About the Role

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an Extended Reality Facility Manager, to support the 95th Wing. In this role, you will assist the Government in refining, enhancing, and improving processes in mission assurance practices. Experience with security requirements will be critical to ensuring the new Mission Campus meets mission needs. This is a full-time position located on-site at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Management of the Extended Reality (XR) facility and associated immersive technology (e.g., Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality) training programs.
• Ensure the facility and equipment remain serviceable, including program oversight, system training, quality assurance, event scheduling, and utilization reporting.
• Work with the training manager to develop training plans and collaborate with weapon system stakeholders and the Integrated Technology Platform program office to resolve deficiencies, advance training solutions, and advocate for future modules.
• Assist with expanding the virtual reality training module catalog and integrating the Weapon System Maintenance Trainer emulator.
• Support requirements definition, organization, and prioritization for funding analysis, decision-making, and development of a fielding strategy for potential solutions.
• Assist in refining, enhancing, and improving processes in system modernization, data analysis, and acquisition support for the E-4C Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) program.
• Provide support for test and evaluation planning, execution, training development, and technical order development and production.
• Develop and execute training strategies for system modifications and support long-term qualification and continuation training programs.
• Provide mission assurance support for overseas aircraft operations, including planning, coordination, and site surveys.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI with NC2-ESI eligibility.
• Certifications: Valid US Driver’s License.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience: 3 or more years as a weapon system trainer facility manager or building manager.

Location: Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), Nebraska. This is a full-time on-site opportunity.
