Extended Care Lead
Cole Valley Christian Schools, established in 1972, is the largest Christian school in Idaho, serving approximately 1,400 students from early childhood through 12th grade with a culture of grace, truth, and love. We strive for the excellence that God calls us to in preparing our students to impact the world for Christ. Our mission is partnering with Christian families to shepherd and challenge students toward their individual potential to impact the world for Christ.
The Extended Care Program offers a safe and fun before and after school program supervised by licensed caregivers, serving CVCS students enrolled in Early Childhood through 5th grade.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and caring supervision to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play.
- Assist with educational activities and homework help.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Desire to invest in and disciple students in their relationship with the Lord.
- Demonstrate an ability to work in unity as part of a team, serving others.
- Ability to obtain current Boise City Childcare Worker’s license including CPR/First Aid certification (paid for by CVCS upon hire).
Pay
$15.45 per hour
Schedule
Approximately 8 hours per week, between the hours of 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
