Express Technician/Mechanic

Edmonds, WA – Swickard Toyota, a Toyota dealership serving the Snohomish County community, is seeking an entry‑level or developing technician for an express lane/lube tech position. The role involves performing multi‑point vehicle inspections, oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid top‑offs, wiper replacements, and other scheduled maintenance services in a high‑volume environment. Responsibilities
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections, oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, wiper replacements, and other scheduled maintenance services
- Document findings accurately on vehicle inspection reports and communicate concerns clearly to service advisors
- Work efficiently within express lane time standards without sacrificing inspection quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout every shift
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training to advance your certification level
Requirements
- Prior automotive technician experience, completion of an automotive technology program, or equivalent hands-on mechanical background preferred
- Toyota or Japanese brand familiarity a plus -- not required
- Able to work at a consistent pace in a high-volume express environment while maintaining accurate inspection quality
- Reliable, punctual, and takes genuine pride in doing the job correctly
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
