Express Service Advisor

About the role

As an Express Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers seeking quick and efficient service for their vehicles. Your primary role is to ensure a seamless service experience by providing outstanding customer care, understanding their needs, and coordinating with our service team to deliver timely and quality automotive services.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
• Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed.
• Offer service recommendations and upsell additional maintenance services when appropriate.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
• Maintain open communication with customers regarding service progress and any changes.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and services.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software related to automotive service management.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
