About the role

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director, is responsible for coordination, implementation and maintenance of the milieu treatment plans for all patients in the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center’s partial hospital programs. Is responsible for input into the formulation of an exposure with response prevention (ERP)-based therapeutic milieu care plan. Supervises, collaborates and consults with all Exposure Coaches (I & II) in their contributions to same. Provides services to children and adolescents. Responsibilities

• Coordinate milieu treatment, oversee implementation of exposure therapy and behavior management plans, monitor documentation of Exposure Coaches in medical records.
• Supervise Exposure Coaches regarding job performance and achievement of expected professional development goals.
• Establish goals for Exposure Coaches performance and professional growth.
• Orient new staff including development of orientation materials and experiences pertaining to the exposure therapy model and the milieu.
• Instruct Exposure Coaches in techniques of crisis management.
• Design and implement in-service programs for new and existing Exposure Coaches.
• Direct placement, training and curriculum for students, interns and volunteers within the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center’s partial hospital programs.
• Provide performance evaluations for the Exposure Coaches in collaboration with the Clinical Director.
• Recommend and carry out hospital disciplinary policies as necessary.
• Interview prospective staff members for employment.
• Evaluate qualifications and recommend qualified individuals for consideration.
• Participate in ongoing process of consultation with treatment team, family, outside agencies, etc.
• Schedule Exposure Coaches (vacations, personal days and earned days, etc.).
• Schedule home visits for all patients; maintain Outlook calendar of these visits for Exposure Coach access.
• Coordinate and communicate last‑minute changes in home‑visit schedule to Exposure Coaches.
• Provide patients’ parents with written weekly schedule of home visits; coordinate and communicate last‑minute changes to parents as needed.
• Maintain inventory for program supplies and equipment; recommend replacement or purchase as required.
• Maintain and operate all Pediatric Anxiety Research Center’s partial hospital program’s audio‑visual equipment.
• Observe all hospital rules and regulations.
