About the role

Assists the Expose Excellence Youth Community Outreach Manager with recruiting and maintaining a student base to support the Expose Excellence Youth Program (EEYP).

  • Assists with planning and implementing EEYP programming, including workshops, camps, field trips, special events, and evening and weekend activities.
  • Interacts with school districts, community organizations, local businesses, and law enforcement agencies to support EEYP outreach.
  • Supervises, mentors, and engages youth participants while maintaining a safe and positive environment.
  • Establishes and maintains communication with students, parents, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Assists with volunteer coordination and collects participant feedback and program data.
  • Assists with EEYP marketing and communications, including social media, graphic design, photography, and video editing.
  • Represents EEYP at community outreach events and performs related administrative duties as assigned.
  • Participates in emergency management activities during a local state of disaster as directed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college hours preferred.
  • One year of work experience, preferably working with youth ages 10-17.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; experience with Canva, social media, graphic design, and video editing is preferred.
  • Evening and weekend work is required.

Pay

Starting salary range: $18.31 - $22.89 hourly based on qualifications.
