About the Role
The Export Traffic Coordinator at Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, plays a crucial role in managing shipping functions, ensuring compliance with federal and state export regulations, and maintaining required processes and procedures for hazardous, export, and special shipments. This on-site position is based in Cortland, NY, and reports to the Materials Manager within the Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Manage, oversee, and analyze traffic procedures and shipment handling for PTM and PRDC products.
- Maintain working knowledge of SAP to support daily shipment processing.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of shipping paperwork.
- Process Manual Delivery shipments, update the online database daily, contact carriers, and prepare invoices, SEDs, and bills of lading for non-customer order goods.
- Maintain backup documentation in accordance with company policy.
- Process customer orders, contact carriers, and prepare bills of lading, invoices, SEDs, and special documentation (e.g., packing lists) for shipments.
- Ensure a safe working environment consistent with OSHA and company policies, including adherence to environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Business or a related technical field.
- Three (3) years of experience in logistics, traffic, and shipping, or four (4) years in a related discipline.
- Dangerous Goods certification required for air shipments.
- Regulatory and compliance background in trucking materials.
- Experience handling hazardous materials.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $70,000–$85,000. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
