About the role
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all explosives safety regulations and guidelines. Conducts inspections, reviews documentation, and provides recommendations to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
- Conducts inspections of explosive storage facilities and operations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Reviews and evaluates safety protocols and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Develops and implements safety training programs for employees.
- Collaborates with regulatory agencies to address safety concerns and ensure compliance.
- Monitors and reports on safety incidents and near-misses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on safety or explosives.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in explosives safety or related field.
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with safety software and databases.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay
- $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
