About the role
The Dartmouth Center for Social Impact’s career programs expose students to the social sector and the broader social impact space through experiential learning opportunities and engagement with alumni in these fields. Whether you’re planning to dive into a career in the social sector, or just hoping to learn and grow in partnership with communities, our programs push students to unlock their potential as societal changemakers.
Responsibilities
- Fund students to intern at non-profits across the United States and in Cape Town, South Africa through our Design Your Own and Cohort Internship programs.
- Match interns with alumni mentors.
- Provide up to $5,500 to cover living expenses, professional development training, and other costs.
- Offer leadership development opportunities such as the ImpACT Winterim Leadership Intensive and Foundations in Social Impact program.
- Support local nonprofit organizations and social enterprises with meaningful business strategies through Social Impact Non-profit Consulting (SINC).
- Connect students with alumni working in the social impact space through events like Breaking the Mold and the All the Difference Podcast.
Requirements
Opportunities are available to students of all disciplines with a wide variety of professional interests, including healthcare, communications, law, public policy, and more.
Qualifications
Students must be enrolled at Dartmouth College and interested in exploring careers in the social impact space.
Skills
Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and a passion for making a positive impact in the world.
