Expert Opportunity - Head of Manufacturing ($90/hr, up to $1,800/week)
About the role
We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced heads of manufacturing who can help train their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks. You’ll create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: production capacity models, bill of materials packages, root cause failure analysis reports, equipment maintenance schedules, quality control inspection checklists, and supplier qualification packages.
Responsibilities
- Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated production capacity models, bill of materials packages, and root cause failure analysis reports
- Develop and assess equipment maintenance schedules, quality control inspection checklists, and supplier qualification packages
- Ensure expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with clear written communication
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical operations, with direct ownership of production capacity planning, bill of materials packages, or quality control processes
- Working knowledge of root cause failure analysis, equipment maintenance planning, and supplier qualification standards used in regulated manufacturing environments
- Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail
Pay
$90/hour
Schedule
Flexible, 5–20 hours per week (or more if desired). Fully remote, work on your own schedule.
