About the role
Heatflow is seeking an Experimental Fluid Mechanics Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in two-phase flow and nozzle testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct experiments to test two-phase flow phenomena in various geometries.
- Develop and analyze data from nozzle testing to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate experimental results into product development processes.
- Write technical reports and present findings at internal meetings and industry conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in experimental fluid mechanics, preferably in nozzle testing and two-phase flow.
- Strong background in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
- Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and report writing.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of experimental methods for measuring two-phase flow parameters.
- Experience with high-pressure systems and nozzle testing equipment.
- Understanding of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and its applications in experimental validation.

Pay
