Experienced Welder – Aerospace Manufacturing (3rd Shift)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a leading aerospace manufacturing operation in Middletown, NY. This position supports the fabrication, inspection, repair, and maintenance of production tooling used in precision manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate has strong TIG and MIG welding experience, excellent mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work from blueprints and technical specifications in a quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing components
• Build, modify, inspect, and repair production tooling as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Conduct inspections to verify tooling meets quality specifications
• Support tooling preparation, inventory control, and organization activities
• Operate and assist with troubleshooting specialized equipment, including waterjet machinery
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established manufacturing procedures
• Support production and engineering teams with tooling-related projects
• Follow all safety, quality, and aerospace manufacturing requirements

Requirements

• Previous TIG and MIG welding experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience performing inspections and quality checks preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organized, reliable, and safety-focused
• Manufacturing, fabrication, aerospace, or tooling experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, squat, climb, and perform repetitive hand movements
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks as needed

Pay

$25.92 per hour

Schedule

3rd Shift: 10:50 PM – 7:00 AM
