Bridgeway Foundation LBG is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in the United States and Ghana dedicated to building resilient communities through equitable access to health, education, economic empowerment, and social welfare programs. Responsibilities
- Research potential grant opportunities from various sources
- Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to gather information and develop grant proposals that align with organizational goals and priorities
- Write clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate the organization's mission, objectives, and impact
- Ensure that all grant proposals are submitted on time and meet the requirements of the funding source
- Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes
- Build and maintain relationships with funders and grant-making organizations
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and funding opportunities to maximize success in securing grants
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Nonprofit Management)
- Proven experience in grant writing, with a track record of successfully securing funding from diverse sources
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive proposals
- Strong research skills, including the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Knowledge of nonprofit organizations and fundraising principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant management software
