Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate medical records and helping answer client questions
- Prepping patients for exams and surgeries
- Administering medications as directed
- Assisting with lab testing including blood, fecal, and urine
- Cleaning and sanitizing surgical tools, kennels, and exam areas
- Monitoring post-op patients and reporting any changes
- Safely restraining patients during exams and procedures
- Helping educate pet parents on medications, treatments, and care
- Partnering with credentialed technicians and veterinarians to deliver top-tier care

Qualifications
- Experienced as a Veterinary Assistant with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience
- Loves animals and brings a calm, steady presence to every situation
- Communicates clearly and compassionately with clients and teammates
- Stays organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Cool under pressure and comfortable in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Eager to keep learning and growing in your role
- A team-first mindset and the willingness to pitch in wherever you are needed

Pay
The compensation starts at $18/hour. Final compensation will be commensurate on experience and skills.
Schedule
Full-time, day shifts
8 to 10 hour shifts
No holidays
Rotating weekends shared across the team
