About the role
VCA Stoney Creek Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care
- Communicate effectively with clients
- Assist with anesthesia and surgery
- Perform radiology and dental procedures
- Administer laboratory tests and medications
- Manage medical records and pharmacy
Requirements
- Credential as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and client service skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in a veterinary setting
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine and procedures
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency in medical recordkeeping
- Basic computer skills

Pay
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour based on skill set and experience.
Schedule
Full time, rotating 4 (10-hour shifts) with Saturdays off.
