Experienced Veterinary Assistant

About the role

VCA Spanish River Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their team. Located in Boca Raton, FL, the hospital offers primary care, illness care, surgery, and dentistry services.

Responsibilities

• Physical examinations, patient assessment, and recovery
• Intubation, anesthesia and monitoring
• Hands-free radiology and diagnostic imaging
• Client communications and discharge

Requirements

Candidates must be positive and motivated. The hospital encourages team members to share their ideas and suggestions to help the team grow.

Qualifications

• Must be a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT)
• Flexible schedule: 4 days/week, every other Saturday
• Compensation: $18 - $25/hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status

Pay
