Responsibilities

• Treatment of dogs and cats
• Surgery-focused day once per week (if desired)

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Maryland
• Experience in small animal practice
• Passionate about providing quality care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Surgeons typically perform 3–4 procedures per day with an average of 14–15 patients per day and 30-minute appointment times. There is one surgery day per week.
