Experienced Veterinarian - Wheaton, MD

About the role

Responsibilities

• Average of 14–15 patients per day
• 30-minute appointment times
• Surgery-focused day once per week (if desired)
• Surgeons typically perform 3–4 procedures

Requirements

• Compassionate, team-oriented experience
• Experience with small animals (dogs & cats only)
• Access to modern tools and resources including ultrasound, therapeutic laser, Cryo, and TonoPen
• Partnership with visiting specialists in ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery

Qualifications

• AVMA accredited veterinary degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Maryland
• Experience with feline low-stress handling and behavior certification a plus
