Experienced Truck Technician / Mechanic - Swing Shift

What you’ll do

• Maintain and repair medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks, ensuring every job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, identifying the best solutions to restore each truck to peak performance
• Repair or rebuild major components such as cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air systems
• Continue improving your skills while working alongside other highly trained technicians in a fully equipped shop

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 3:30pm – midnight (swing shift).

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair
• Will also accept candidates with a Diesel tech degree and a mechanical aptitude/background
• Basic computer knowledge
• Self-motivation and assertiveness
• Ability to work under little or no supervision
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Must provide own tools

Preferred qualifications

• Kenworth Essentials certifications
• Cummins and MX software experience

Pay

$34.80 – $36.90/hr (Depending on Experience)
