Experienced Transmission Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair transmission systems on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on transmissions
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately
• Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures
• Document repair procedures and communicate findings to service advisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Transmission Technician or similar role
• GM experience is a plus
• ASE Certification is a plus
• Strong knowledge of transmission systems and automotive repair techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
