About the role

The Terrain Park Entry Attendant will work as an entry-level tester and park attendant supporting the Terrain Park leadership for all departmental needs. Responsibilities include contributing feedback on park design and layout, assisting with supervision of daytime operations, ensuring daily procedures, maintenance, and safety of all terrain features, signs, and boundaries. The role also involves assisting Ski Patrol, ensuring compliance with risk management and safety protocols, fabricating or repairing terrain features, and handling guest relations and education.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing, and barriers
  • Monitor terrain features according to company policy
  • Maintain terrain features and equipment in the parks
  • Assist with special events and marketing
  • Participate in user education and guest relations
  • Keep all facilities in clean, neat condition
  • Adhere to all company policies and assist with departmental documentation
  • Patrol terrain parks, assist Ski Patrol with injuries, and provide guest education
  • Demonstrate professionalism, strong guest service skills, attention to detail, and timeliness
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to speak, read, and communicate clearly in English
  • Professionalism, strong guest service skills, attention to detail, and timeliness
  • Flexible schedule required during peak times
  • At least 1 year of prior experience working in a terrain park, similar facility, or outdoor ski resort environment
  • Must either snowboard or ski with advanced ability as determined by management
  • Able to ride 50% of features in the terrain parks
  • Must be a team player flexible with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, including effective use of mountain radio
  • Candidates 18 years or older are subject to a satisfactory background screening

Preferred Skills

  • Previous construction/landscaping experience
  • CPR/First Aid trained

Pay

The expected pay range is $22.26/hr - $27.83/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
