About the role

Part-time Seamstress/Tailor or Master Tailor position in our Phoenix, AZ sales office. The ideal candidate excels in delivering the finest tailored clothing with excellent attention to detail and can work quickly in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully on-site position with required attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations on high-end men’s and women’s garments, including suits, shirts, coats, blazers, dresses, and trousers
• Adjustments such as:
  • Shorten/lengthen sleeves
  • Taper sides of garments
  • Lower collars
  • Take in/out trousers waist
  • Take in/out seat and rise on pants
  • Shorten/lengthen trousers
  • Taper trouser thighs and foot widths
• Ensure proper sizing of clients’ garments
• Manage all interactions with professionalism
• Track detailed alteration production daily
• Press finished garments, remove threads, and prepare for client-ready delivery
• Complete all work promptly to meet customer delivery dates
• Maintain a clean work environment and required paperwork for daily assignments

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of tailoring experience in a retail or customer-service environment
• Strong working knowledge of garment construction in men's and women's apparel
• Ability to perform high-quality workmanship, including hand and machine sewing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter with the ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and organize time effectively

Pay

$27.00 per hour
