Experienced Supply Chain Management Consultant

About the role

We are seeking talent with Supply Chain consulting experience to join our Corporate & Shared Services team. Experienced consultants are expected to have the leadership, project management, and client relationship skills necessary to successfully manage a variety of project types and sizes.

Responsibilities

• Work on small project teams to identify, and often implement, solutions to client problems and challenges.
• Project teams are typically composed of three or four consultants and a partner.
• Collaborate closely with experienced ScottMadden consultants and partners to maximize learning and meaningful project contributions.
• Contribute to a supportive network for career advancement, with assigned senior-level sponsors and onboarding ambassadors.
• Receive frequent feedback on projects and annual reviews, with promotions and bonuses earned quarterly based on utilization.

Qualifications

• Practical understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain functions, including demand planning & forecasting, strategic procurement, transactional procurement, logistics, materials management, inventory management, procure-to-pay, accounts payable, etc.
• Knowledge of leading practice Supply Chain practices, processes, technologies, and organizational structures.
• Experience in transforming Supply Chains, including assessing, designing, implementing, and improving operating models.
• Experience in overseeing/delivering technology implementations and digital transformations, including strategy and business case, requirements gathering, vendor selection, testing, training, and deployment.
• Strong project and resource management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn quickly.

Requirements

• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Supply Chain consulting experience (3+ years preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project and Outlook).
