Supply Chain Consultant

About the role

This position is for a Supply Chain Domain expert with experience in the business consulting arm of companies like Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, or Wipro. The role involves leading consulting engagements, defining transformation strategies, and driving thought leadership initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Engage at CXO levels and articulate offerings.
• Lead consulting engagements independently, managing client stakeholders at multiple levels to successfully deliver engagements (travel required ~75% of the time).
• Define transformation strategy and roadmap, business process harmonization, requirements baselining, and solution fit-gap assessment.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and convert them into qualified leads.
• Lead go-to-market and thought leadership initiatives.
• Conceptualize and develop solutions, offerings, reusable assets, and frameworks.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, leadership, design thinking, and articulation skills.

Requirements

• Supply Chain Domain experience in one or more functional areas: Planning, Procurement, Distribution (Inventory, Warehousing, Logistics), or Order Management.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in sub-verticals such as automotive, aerospace, industrial, or process manufacturing.
• Experience as a solution architect or functional consultant in one or more COTS solutions:
  • Kinaxis, Anaplan, o9, BlueYonder, Coupa, Zycus, iValua, etc.
  • SCM Modules of leading ERPs (SAP, Oracle, D365, etc.).
• Prefer 2 or more COTS solution implementations in solution design and user acceptance testing.
• APICS certifications (CSCP, CLTD, CPIM) or other industry-standard certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.

Pay

$100,000 to $130,000 per annum.
