About the role

Valley Nissan Mitsubishi seeks a driven, skilled Automotive Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience as an automotive technician, strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently according to repair orders and dealership standards
• Diagnose vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
• Complete thorough multi-point inspections with clear documentation
• Communicate findings with Service Advisors to ensure transparency with customers
• Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Test drive vehicles as needed to verify concerns and completed repairs

Requirements

• Experience as an automotive technician
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable using computers and digital inspection tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Own set of hand tools
• Nissan or Mitsubishi certifications preferred (Master Tech highly valued)

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to grow

Skills

• ASE Certifications
• Previous dealership experience
• Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills
