Our Chapman Chevrolet dealership in Tempe is currently seeking Experienced Service Technicians to join our service department. Our technicians play a critical role in the customer’s vehicle ownership experience by delivering reliable, high-quality maintenance services and repairs. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with Service Advisors and the Parts Department.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Execute work specified on repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Communicate additional service or repair needs to the Service Advisor, including estimated completion times
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and parts used
- Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive service technician experience required
- ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- General computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate service records
- Must have your own tools
- Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
