Experienced Service Technician
Repair and Maintenance
Repair and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
Customer Interaction
Meet with customers onsite to review work before and after services.
Work with office staff to order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services.
Documentation and Dispatch
Complete dispatches, work orders, and service requests accurately and on time.
Track and maintain job-related paperwork.
Submit paperwork to office staff in a timely manner – often via company-issued phone.
Vehicle Management
Manage parts and materials on your company-issued vehicle.
Professionalism and Safety
Maintain a professional attitude in a safe working environment with a clean job site.
Physical Demands
Stand, bend, and/or climb for long periods of time in a non-climate-controlled environment;
Lift 75+ pounds;
Work at heights/use a ladder.
Technical Skills
Familiar with basic computer skills, operating phone applications, and general communication via phone/email/messengers/text;
High school diploma/GED;
Unrestricted and valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
Additional Qualifications
2+ years of experience in one or more of these fields: construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, military, mechanical, or similar;
1+ years of customer service/interaction experience;
Skilled understanding of mechanical, electrical systems, or wiring;
1+ years using power tools and hand tools in a professional setting;
Strong problem-solving skills;
Organized, with a strong attention to detail;
Skilled understanding of workflow within a construction job site or similar environment.
