Experienced Service Advisor-GMC

At McKinney Buick GMC we have an atmosphere of fun success. Our Service Team is an integral part of our dealership's success with our advisors being the tip of the spear for our service customers. If you have experience as a Service Advisor in a car dealership and a proven track record of success this is an excellent opportunity for you. As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer’s experience in our service department. You are the key point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive to explaining the repair process our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but have experience in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry or hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of Drive Lane.
• Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
• Ensure that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
• Maintain high CSI standards.

Qualifications

• Organized and friendly personality and professional, well-groomed appearance.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others.
• Time management skills.
• Fantastic communication skills with customers.
• Clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and must be at least 18 years old.
