Experienced Residential Electrician

About the role

We're looking for experienced Residential Service Electricians to join our team and help homeowners solve electrical problems safely and efficiently. This is a run-your-own-truck, own-your-day type of role where you'll diagnose and resolve residential electrical issues, perform upgrades and repairs, and educate homeowners on solutions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and solve residential electrical problems
• Perform upgrades, repairs, and replacements
• Educate homeowners and offer real solutions
• Run your own calls and own your numbers
• Represent Michael and Son Services professionally in every interaction
• Follow company processes and standards while working independently

What success looks like

In the first 6-12 months, success in this role means:

• Consistently satisfied customers and positive feedback
• High-quality work with minimal callbacks or rework
• Meeting service and performance goals through honest, customer-focused recommendations

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience performing residential electrical service work
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to explain service options and help customers make informed decisions
• Valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Electrical license or certification (journeyman, master, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with tablets, digital dispatching, or paperless job documentation
• Interest in career growth, mentorship, or leadership opportunities

Pay

Michael and Son electricians average $60k-$85k annually, with top performers earning over $100k. No artificial caps on income.
