Experienced Pre School Soccer Coach

The Job

• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
• Coach Soccer Shots classes with an apprentice coach, providing on-field mentoring and direction.
• Complete high-quality classes with excellent evaluation scores.
• Attend all seasonal trainings and other events when available.
• Prompt, reliable, and professional written and verbal communication via Slack acknowledging messages.

Qualifications

• Prior sports/coaching/teaching experience required.
• Prior training, mentoring, or leadership experience required.
• Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Energetic, engaging, responsible, and safety-conscious personality.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-8.
• High school diploma plus additional education and/or certification.
• Drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills.
• Completed and approved Oregon Early Learning school required fingerprinting and background check.
