Experienced Polisher / Fabricator (Night Shift)

About the role

Our Post Falls Branch is seeking a full-time experienced Polisher/Fabricator for the night shift.

Requirements

• 1-year experience in a similar role with polishing on natural stone and engineered quartz
• Experience using grinders and polishers (an asset)
• Hardworking, motivated, well-organized, and task-oriented
• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
• Ability to read units of measurement
• Demonstrated knowledge of hand woodworking tools and ability to operate power tools such as table saw, chop saw, etc.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of stone to conform to templates, other parts, layouts, or blueprint specifications
• Polish, glue, and miter pieces together
• Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools
• Unload/load and adjust workpieces onto equipment or work tables, using hand tools and mechanical lifters
• Other duties as assigned
