Experienced Manufacturing Technician - 3rd Shift

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician at Honeywell, you will employ critical thinking in a clean room environment, applying your knowledge of chemistry fundamentals to help deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving customer needs. You will work under direct supervision alongside talented chemists to develop and optimize chemical formulations, conduct experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development for Honeywell’s next-generation products. This role supports 3rd shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am, Sunday-Thursday night. Training may initially take place on a different shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product conformity and adherence to specifications
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Document production data and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic computer skills and ability to use manufacturing tools and equipment
• Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Experience in a clean room laboratory
• Works under minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science (valued but not required)
• Leadership or coaching experience (valued but not required)

Pay

The annual pay range for this position is $50,000–$76,000. Compensation is determined based on the scope and responsibilities of the role, candidate’s work experience, education, training, key skills, and market considerations.
