About the Role

Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. The Maintenance Technician is an important member of the facility maintenance team, working alongside other technicians and the Director of Plant Operations to maintain a safe, functional, physical environment for patients, employees, and guests in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital.

Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adults, including Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient, and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair, and service.
  • Troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action with great attention to detail.

Schedule

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with weekend availability and rotating on-call for after-hours emergencies.

Shift differentials: Weekend Day (Sat-Sun) $2/hr, Evening (Mon-Thurs) $3.25/hr, Weekend Evening (Fri-Sun) $5.00/hr, Night (Mon-Thurs) $5.00/hr, Weekend Night (Fri-Sun) $7.00/hr. Must work three and a half hours (3.5 hours) into a shift to qualify.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (highly preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
  • 2 years of technical or trade school (preferred).
  • Prior maintenance experience in a hospital, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
  • General experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air conditioning with experience in repairs and maintenance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills.
