We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation practice. For more than 75 years, our firm has served businesses, institutions, nonprofits, and individuals throughout New England. We have grown into one of the largest and most dynamic business and litigation law firms in the region, with a reputation for sophisticated legal work, exceptional client service, and long-standing relationships within the New Hampshire business community.
Our litigation team handles a broad range of complex matters, including business and commercial disputes, construction litigation, employment matters, insurance defense, professional liability, probate litigation, and other high-stakes civil litigation cases.

Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Take and defend depositions
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Develop case strategy and provide practical counsel to clients
- Work directly with business clients, insurers, institutions, and individuals
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups
- Build and grow client relationships through networking and business development initiatives
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the New Hampshire and/or Massachusetts Bar
- 5+ years of civil litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
- Experience independently managing a litigation caseload
- Demonstrated ability to engage directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Residence within approximately one hour of Manchester, NH
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial, business, employment, construction, insurance defense, professional liability, or related litigation practices
- Existing referral network or book of business
- Interest in long-term practice growth and leadership opportunities
