Experienced Level 2 and Level 3 Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking Level 2 and Level 3 Care Providers (LV2 & LV3) to provide hands‑on, non‑medical 1‑on‑1 care to clients in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley Counties, including Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, North Charleston, Awendaw, Huger, Ravenel, Hanahan, and island areas.

Pay

$15.00–$17.00/hour, based on experience and skill level

Schedule

Weekdays and weekends; flexible availability preferred. Shifts may include 4‑hour, extended/full‑day, and overnight opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
• Assist with mobility, walking, positioning, and safe transfers
• Provide dementia/Alzheimer's care
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare meals according to client needs and dietary restrictions
• Assist with care‑plan‑directed exercises
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, shopping, and outings
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report changes in client condition or unusual incidents
• Follow individualized care plans and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous professional caregiving experience required
• Experience providing hands‑on personal care and ADL assistance
• Experience with mobility assistance and transfers
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently in a client's home
• Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures
• Dependable, punctual, compassionate, and professional
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to meet the physical demands of caregiving
• CNA, PCA, HHA, nursing students, and caregivers with other relevant experience encouraged to apply
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
