Curriculum & Instruction Develop and implement lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and individualized instruction Lead circle time, group activities, learning centers, and classroom transitionsFoster early academic skills including pre-literacy, numeracy, fine motor skills, and language development Utilize observation and assessment tools to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Classroom Leadership Create a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment aligned with NAEYC standards Supervise and guide Assistant Teachers and Aides, modeling effective teaching strategies and classroom routinesMaintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety protocolsImplement positive behavior guidance and social-emotional learning strategies Family Communication & School Collaboration Maintain open communication with families through daily updates, progress reports, and scheduled conferencesSupport and attend family engagement events, parent education sessions, and school celebrationsCollaborate with school administrators and fellow teachers to ensure alignment with school goals and state licensing standards Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required or in progress) Minimum 1–2 years of classroom experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood centerProven ability to lead classroom activities and routines with confidence and consistencyStrong knowledge of child development, learning domains, and early intervention best practicesEffective communication skills with children, families, and co-workersA love for young children and a commitment to their growth and well-being Preferred Experience Familiarity with curriculum models such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori is preferred, as our proprietary curriculum incorporates elements from both approaches.Knowledge of state child care licensing regulations and quality standards Background in inclusive education, sensory integration, or differentiated instruction is a plus Ready to Make a Difference?
