About the role

Associates at JEGI LEONIS play a central role in supporting the execution of M&A and capital advisory transactions. They work closely with senior bankers to deliver high‑quality advisory services to clients across technology, software, media, and business services sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial analysis and valuation workstreams, including financial modeling, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and discounted cash flow modeling.
  • Manage the preparation of client deliverables such as information memoranda, management presentations, board materials, and new‑business pitch presentations.
  • Support transaction execution by preparing financial analyses, reviewing due‑diligence materials, and assisting in the evaluation of strategic alternatives.
  • Coordinate due‑diligence processes, including organizing data rooms, reviewing company documentation, and collaborating with clients and external advisors.
  • Conduct industry and competitive research to support client engagements and business‑development initiatives.
  • Oversee and mentor Analysts, ensuring accuracy and quality across financial models, analyses, and presentation materials.
  • Work closely with senior team members to develop strategic recommendations and advisory solutions for clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–6 years of relevant experience in investment banking or equivalent advisory roles.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate‑finance principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Legal right to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Pay

Expected base salary: $140,000 – $160,000. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary cash and/or deferred‑compensation bonus.
