Experienced Insulation Technician

Location: Bothell, WA (Serving King & Snohomish Counties). Full-time, year-round work.

About the role

Eastside Exterminators is looking for motivated and experienced individuals to join our growing team as an Insulation Installer / Technician. This is physical, rewarding work that directly improves the health, comfort, and protection of homeowners’ properties.

Responsibilities

• Remove old insulation, debris, and contaminants from attics and crawlspaces
• Install new insulation, vapor barriers, and air sealing products
• Install drainage systems and pipe in crawlspaces and around homes
• Seal HVAC duct joints and replace duct insulation
• Install attic and crawlspace baffles
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Follow safety procedures and use professional tools and equipment
• Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and on ladders
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Good communication skills and professionalism with homeowners
• Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on problem solving
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screening (excluding marijuana)
• Experience in insulation, construction, HVAC, restoration, or general labor

Qualifications

• English required; Spanish preferred (Se Habla Español)

Pay

$25.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE) during training. Average installers make $65,000 – $85,000 a year with overtime opportunities and performance-based raises. Production commissions after training.
